FOR SALE AUSTIN HEALEY 1OO . A reliable car which was once owned by George Begg, a well known racing car constructor backing the 70’s. It is fitted with genuine Al-fin alloy brake drums, ¾ inch sway bar, competition clutch, Moto Lita type steering wheel and a heavily louvered bonnet. I do not know what modifications the motor has had but it is definitely not standard, having sufficient torque to easily take off in top gear. It has a three speed gearbox with overdrive. The car was re-commissioned by me in early 2007 after a period of no use by the previous owner. This involved reconditioning the brakes including S/S sleeving the master cylinder, replacing all radiator hoses and fan belt, 5 new tyres, new battery, change all oils, tune up and checking of all systems and adjustment where necessary. The car comes with a spare gearbox and diff. This is a lovely handling old car which is exhilarating to drive and is only being offered for sale because I simply have too many cars at present.
